Kae is a new graduate OT spending this summer preparing to take the NBCOT exam and taking a bit of time off to refresh from the hustle that was OT school!!

As an “alternative" person by way of perspective and self-expression, I went with the "Alt OT" to showcase this aspect of my personality and approach to my career as an occupational therapist. I am many things besides doctor of occupational therapy. I am a neuro-divergent, queer military veteran, and I am deeply passionate about driving change and fostering inclusivity.

My doctoral research focuses on gender and occupational therapy, but I’m equally fired up about disability rights, reproductive health, social research, and human sexuality.
