![What a great day to round out one of my last weeks as a student! I represented my Alma matter McKendree University for Student Lobby Day to urge our state legislators to support funding the MAP grant, to push for community colleges to allow bachelor degrees, and of course, pushing for better access to ethical healthcare and reproductive rights in our incredible Prairie State, the Land of Lincoln.
And speaking of President Abe Lincoln, no trip to Springfield is complete without something Honest Abe related. This time around, we stopped at Abe Lincoln’s (and family) Tomb.

I am very passionate about advocacy! My research focus is gender, but sexuality, reproductive health, and disability rights also get me fired up! I am an "alt" neurodivergent, queer, military veteran who truly wants to make a positive impact.
